Additional Information: Jeff Houston has a keen interest in maximizing one's unique and personal potential. He believes that each of us possess the possibility for change and growth throughout our lives. Challenges present the opportunity to help us learn about ourselves and move forward in ways we never thought possible. Jeff has experience as a school social worker, special education teacher and as a former director of substance abuse services in Northville Michigan. Jeff also has specialized experience working with children and adults who have autism. He has extensive knowledge of at- risk youth and techniques of dealing with oppositional children and adolescents. Jeff has a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Michigan, teaching certifications from The University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University, a Masters degree in special education and a Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University. He is a former college athlete and believes in the benefits of athletic participation as a physical, social, emotional and spiritual endeavor.
